An energizing hand wash tablet built around the antioxidant depth of matcha and the true botanical lift of lemon verbena. The one that makes you pause before rinsing.
Ondari’s Lemon Verbena & Matcha Hand Wash Tablets start with botanicals. Everything else follows.
Matcha and spirulina deliver antioxidant and clarifying benefits with every use. Lemon verbena oil gives the formula a brightness that synthetic scents can’t replicate. Cucumber seed oil soothes, shea butter conditions, and rice powder quietly refines texture wash after wash.
This is for people who treat hand washing like a moment, not a task. It’s precise, sensorial, and built around ingredients that earn their place in the formula.
How to Use
- Press one tablet between your thumb and fingers until it crushes into a fine powder in your palm.
- Add a few drops of water and work the mixture gently until a soft lather forms
- Wash hands thoroughly and rinse.
Tip: The lemon verbena scent is most vibrant as the lather forms. Take a moment to enjoy it before rinsing.
Key Ingredients & Why They Matter
- Matcha — One of the most antioxidant-rich botanicals in skincare. Helps neutralize environmental stressors and supports a clear, even complexion.
- Spirulina — A nutrient-dense algae known for its detoxifying and clarifying properties. Adds depth to what the formula can do.
- Lemon Verbena Leaf Oil — Not a synthetic lemon scent. True lemon verbena is bright, herbal, and clarifying — one of the most uplifting botanicals in natural perfumery.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are Ondari tablets different from regular liquid soap?
Most cleansers and liquid soaps are 70-80% water. Ours contain nearly zero (because truly zero is impossible!). Our tablets are concentrated cleansing formulas that activate with water, making them lighter to carry, better for the planet, and more convenient for your lifestyle.
Are Ondari tablets as effective as regular liquid soap?
Yes. Our tablets contain the same active cleansing ingredients found in liquid soap cleansers, plus a few skin-loving ingredients, just without the water that makes up most of their volume. When you add water during the wash process, you get the same effective clean.
How many tablets should I use?
One tablet will be enough for a single wash. Tiny tablets, big personality.
Why is it necessary to crush the tablet before adding water?
We recommend crushing the tablet so the powder can easily absorb the water and form a lather. Adding water to an uncrushed tablet may slow down the water absorption process and may result in uneven texture. Crushing the tablet into powder increases the surface area so the water easily mixes with the cleansing ingredients and activates.
Are your tablets safe for all skin types?
Our formulas are made with natural ingredients suitable for all skin types. Ingredients such as shea butter are known for their calming and soothing properties, making them particularly gentle for sensitive skin.
What is Ondari free from?
We are proudly free from preservatives, parabens, silicones, phosphates, phthalates, SLS, plastics, petrochemicals, dyes, and artificial scents.
What happens if the tablets in the tin get wet?
A little water exposure during use is fine, but tablets should be allowed to fully dry between uses. If a tablet stays wet for several days, we recommend discarding it. The drier the environment, the less chance of bacteria growth, so storing your tin away from direct shower spray is a good habit.
Is it normal for my tablets to change color over time?
Yes, completely. They are made with real matcha, which will cause the tablets to shift in color over time. Rest assured, any change in color has no effect on the performance of your tablets.
Can I eat these?
While some of our ingredients are food-grade, Ondari tablets are not designed for consumption and should not be ingested. Keep out of reach of children.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 states and D.C.
